「南國味蕾大綻放！」
說到台南水果，你會想到什麼？玉井芒果、關廟鳳梨、還是麻豆文旦？台南因土地平坦適合農作，耕地面積達九萬多公頃，居全國之冠，舊台南縣亦有「農業縣」之稱。豐富的水果物產，也使台南的水果店、冰菓室蓬勃發展。在早期電影院、百貨公司尚未到處林立的年代，情侶們於炎炎夏日一同到冰菓室吹著電扇、吃著水果冰品，也是台南特有的約會文化。

When talking about fruits in Tainan, what comes to your mind? Is it Yujing mango, Guanmiao pineapple, or Madou pomelo? Tainan is great for farming because of its flat land. Its cultivated area is more than 90,000 hectares, which is the largest in the country. That is why the old Tainan County is also known as the "Agricultural County.” The abundance of produce also sprouted the growth of Tainan's fresh fruit stores and shaved ice shops. In the early days when movie theaters and department stores were not yet common, most couples would hang out at those shops to enjoy icy desserts under the fans on a hot summer day. This phenomenon in turn created a unique dating culture in Tainan.
